Yesterday (May 15th), was a fairly short day, we really didn’t do too much. Our meeting time was at 2:15 PM to begin the day. So I tried to wake up early, but this did not happen. For lunch I went to McDonalds, this was an interesting time. The place was filled with mostly German people and the menu was completely different. They still had like a Big Mac and chicken nuggets, but they also had different pastries and sandwiches. I got a chicken sandwich and cheese fries. It was actually good, unlike McDonalds in the U.S.

After lunch I kinda just roamed around Verona exploring the different shops. Once the meeting time came around we departed by bus to go see the Verona Consortium. This is a group of fashion companies that essentially combines its resources to be more competitive. There we saw some designers producing smaller pieces of clothing. Again this was most interesting because the idea of a group joining to be more competitive, especially because the designers that we saw were very small. Without the consortium they would definitely not be as competitive.

After we visited that site we went back to the hotel and I just slept, got some street food, and then went to bed for the night. It has been a great trip so far, but definitely a tiring one.
