Today we got a chance to take a walking tour of Milan’s famous fashion district. It was cool to see a change of scenery because a lot of Milan has traditional architecture but this part of the city was very modern and had a very urban feel to it. I really enjoyed walking by Giorgio Armani’s headquarters after we just learned about all that he does and it was cool to see the architecture of the building.
The fashion district really felt like the heart of what Milan is. They are known for being the high fashion capital of the world, so it was very fitting that I could walk down the street and see stores like Balenciaga, Prada, Chanel, and many more. This is definitely a place that I would want to come back and visit in the future. I’m already very interested in fashion, and learning about the history of fashion in Milan has only sparked this interest even more and has taken it a step further. My favorite store that I got a chance to go in was 10 Corso Como. It is one of the most known stores in Milan and had amazing collections from brands that I knew of, but don’t get a chance to see very often.
