It has been a very fun and busy two weeks of visits and experiences throughout South Korea and we have finally made it to our last day before we must take the long journey home. With nothing scheduled for today we all had the opportunity to sleep in today, which was great for the first time all trip. After waking up and relaxing for a while, some of us decided to go out and go to lunch and the beach for the afternoon of our free day. When we got to Haeundae, which is the most popular beach and a good place to find restaurants to eat we walked around for awhile before we found a good Korean restaurant to eat at. We had some short rib soup and some dumplings before we went over to the beach. When we got to the beach we meet up with a bunch of other kids from our group and spent a few hours relaxing on the beach. The water was very cold and unfortunately it was a little cloudy so we didn’t spend much time in the water. Then we decided we better go back to the hotel to get ready before we had to go to our final dinner where we also had to give our final presentation. Each group had to come up with a product or business that would be used in South Korea or the USA and talk about it. My group came up with the idea of a video chatting app similar to Skype or Facetime that uses translation technology so that business people around the world can talk and understand each other because everything is translated. The app has other features but that was the main part. After the presentations we ate dinner which was a seafood buffet that had so many good options and was a great meal to the end the trip on. Then after dinner we went back to the hotel and packed up all of my clothes and stuff before we have to wake up and leave early tomorrow.
