My name is Stella Kaye and I am a current freshman at Pitt. I am planning on majoring in accounting, minoring in economics, and getting the innovation and entrepreneurship certificate. I am involved in the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity and was a recruitment chair this past semester. I am also a member of the female empowerment club Empower and have participated in several of their events this school year.
In my free time, I enjoy being outside, playing music, and spending time with people I care about. I love watching sunrises and sunsets and could drive with the windows down for hours. In the future, I hope to live on a farm and be a small business owner. I feel that will tie together my professional and personal interests very well.
I am in the Cyprus 2 group for Plus3. We will be learning about supply chain while we are overseas. I am very excited for both the location and the topic. Cyprus looks like a beautiful place and I look forward to all of the sightseeing. Before I chose accounting, I was also considering supply chain. Learning more about supply chain is something I won’t get to do through my classes and am excited to have the opportunity now. Academically and professionally, I hope to learn more about supply chains and sharpen my professional skills through speaking with Cyprus’s top professionals. On a more personal level, I can’t wait to get to know everyone in my group better and create lasting friendships.
