Breakfast with Everyone!

Today was enjoyable! We did a city tour of Munich and learned a lot about Munich! To get to Munich, we took a streetcar to the train station. The train ride to Munich was around 30-45 minutes, and it was cool to ride the train as I feel like in all European movies taking the train is always depicted. Once we arrived in the city, we met the lady who would be our tour guide. The lady who gave the tour was amiable and knowledgeable about the city.

One fun part of the city was when we watched this giant clock and waited for the clock to hit the next hour. Every hour the clock has these figurines that dance around and depict a story describing part of the history of Munich. After the city tour, we got some free time to tour the city. I hung out with Semira and Nate, and we looked at various shops and stopped at different bakeries and small restaurants. One place we stopped by was a chocolatier store with tons of varying chocolate dishes, including brownies, hot chocolate, milkshakes, cake, and more.

Another shop we went to had this beautiful musical statue that I bought. It was gorgeous, and I’m so excited to put it in my room. After touring and visiting the city, we headed to the restaurant to meet the rest of the group for dinner. The place we had dinner at had German burgers. The restaurant was called Hans im Glueck and was lovely. I love trying different cuisines in countries they don’t originate from because you can try different interpretations of the same food. I got fries and a chicken sandwich at the restaurant.

They were awesome and filled me up perfectly. After dinner, we took the train back to Augsburg and right now I am in my hotel room writing this blog post! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! Until Next Time!
