Day 10: PwC and the Farewell Dinner

In the morning at like 11 am, we headed over to PwC. It was a short bus ride, being very close to the hotel. We met with some of the senior staff on the top floor of the building. It was really nice. They had a hologram thingy which I’m pretty sure was just an application of the Pepper’s ghost illusion. For those unaware of how this allusion works, basically light is shot upwards (perpendicular to the audience) onto a piece of glass at a 45 degree angle with the top of the pane of glass towards the audience. Somehow the brain processes the reflection on the glass as an actual object. To get back on topic, the people were basically talking about how their company is revolutionizing the supply chain by making it circular. Overall it was pretty cool. Afterwards, we went back to the hotel where I rested for a couple hours.

It was then time for the farewell dinner. It was pretty good. I feel like it had the usual things. I might seem apathetic to it, but I liked it; it’s just that having the same thing a lot in a relatively short period of time is boring. I also found the interior decorating of the restaurant very good. I also don’t know why it was called the farewell dinner even though we still have tomorrow and we leave on Friday. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and the restaurant. Tomorrow is our last day.
