Today was the day that we would be doing our presentations on our companies. I had been stressing about this day since our company visit and it’s finally here. We had done so much work and I couldn’t wait to get it over with and enjoy our last couple days in Germany. Our group woke up at 8 and took the streetcar over to the University to meet with everyone in our group. We went over logistics and made any final changes before we sent it to Dr. Feick and Korbinian. We then met up with the BMW group and then presented to each other to see if there were any issues and to generate some potential questions. Overall, it was a very productive morning.
After that we went to the Mensa for the last time to eat. I got a beef stew, some pasta, and this really tasty looking belgian waffle.

After that, it was time for the presentations. I think it went really well but I did lose my place once. I’m really happy with how it turned out and my group were always willing to put in the work which I greatly appreciate. I’m certain that we did great and I wish the German students good luck in anymore assignments they have to do.
After the presentations were done, we passed out pitt t-shirts that we bought as gifts for all the German students. We also took a group photo.
After that we went back into town and went to the Ratskeller for the farewell dinner. I got a strawberry cream drink and we shared some flatbreads at the table which tasted really good. For the entree I had the Ratskeller’s original Schnitzel. And, to close it out we took more photos of the Plus3 Group and the with some of the German students. We also took a lot of farewell photos with Maxi, who all of the Plus3 guys have really developed a solid friendship with. I do hope I get to see again someday.

It was a strange feeling because it’s probably the last time I will see some of them. I had a lot of fun getting to know them. We shared a lot of good memories on the trip and although I never see them again I’m glad that we made them all the same. Today was such a sad day but it’s almost time to go home. Onto to Salzburg!
