Hello everyone! My name is Declan Coates. I am a second-year student at the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Business Administration. I am majoring in finance, with a minor in economics, and a certificate in business analytics. On campus I’m involved in Panther Equity, Residential Student Association, and Sigma Alpha Epsilon. I’m a seasoned traveler with a wide range of interests, and I’m ready to visit Ireland once again.

In one month, I will be traveling to Dublin, Ireland on a two-week program with a group of business students to study globalization and technology. I selected this program because I’m interested in global business and have Irish ancestry; it’s the perfect opportunity for me to learn more about another culture and how global businesses operate. I’ll gain the knowledge I need from these experiences to help me decide on a career path. I can’t wait to write about my trip and experiences on this blog, so stay tuned!
