Hey everyone! My name is Jake and I am a student at the University of Pittsburgh, studying Finance and Global Management with a minor in French. I consider myself to be incredibly driven and efficient. In four years, I look to see myself working either at the Securities Exchange Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, or a related private firm.

The international program that I have chosen and been selected for is Plus3 Argentina. I chose this particular program mostly because I am very interested in the financial side of healthcare, especially international healthcare. There is so much that goes into it and I can’t wait to dive right in! I look forward to taking in as much information as possible when I am there as well as analysing the processes that go into funding the healthcare system in Argentina.

There are also so many cultural aspects that I am excited to experience while I’m there. Just being in a whole new environment and stepping out of your comfort zones really allows you to let go and experience life to the fullest. I am also excited to try Argentine food and seeing the incredible landscapes while we are there.
