Hello! My name is Blake Pitzer, and I am from York, Pennsylvania. I am currently a sophomore intending on majoring in Supply Chain Management and Finance with a minor in Economics and a certificate in Business Analytics. After returning from Ireland, I will be interning with FedEx in transportation and logistics back in my hometown. On campus, I am a member of Phi Beta Lambda. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, Spike ball, and frisbee. I am currently re-watching NCIS because it is one of my favorite shows of all time.

I chose Plus3 Ireland because I am a transfer student into the CBA and was interested in a study abroad opportunity that was not an entire semester long. I am very excited for this trip because I have never traveled outside of the United States before. I’m really interested in learning more about the Irish culture, and more broadly about how the day-to-day life is different than what I experience in the USA. Additionally, I am looking forward to building new connections with the rest of the class traveling to Ireland and some locals as well. Professionally, I hope to learn more about industry and some of the differences between how business in done in Ireland compared to here. Ireland, specifically Dublin, has a booming business environment, so I can’t think of a better place to learn and develop professionally.
