Hi everyone, my name is Kambria Clark and I am so excited to be participating in the Plus3 program this summer! Traveling overseas is one of the most sought-after goals on my bucket list, so I’m ready to take on Cyprus and learn more about foreign customs and relations. I am a freshman in the College of Business Administration at Pitt, and I’m currently majoring in Finance with a certificate in Leadership Ethics. Though Pittsburgh has become like a second home for me, my roots are in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (about 20 minutes out from Harrisburg). I come from a large family (10 siblings!) and miss them every day, but on the Pitt campus I have connected with so many amazing people who guide me and support me through organizations such as the Roberto Clemente Minority Business Association and the Ethics and Debate club.

When I’m not in Sennott Square or Hillman, you can usually find me on a bus travelling around the city; I love to explore and discover new places to get coffee or used books! I also greatly enjoy the arts, and regularly attend the Pitt ARTS discounted programs whenever I get the chance. When I heard about Plus3 I knew that I wanted to get involved, especially knowing that Cyprus was on the table and that Global Industries was the focus. I’ve always had an interest in studying abroad and a two week trip is the perfect way for me to test the waters before committing to a semester away later in my academic career.

Cyprus was a top pick for me when deciding where to travel because it provides a rare opportunity to get an inside look on the global supply chain in a country where the beauty and history is unrivaled. Since I am pursuing business and I have an interest in supply chain, this choice allows me to participate in an inclusive international experience that directly relates to my aspirations while also giving me the chance to visit a place singular in its unique culture and atmosphere. I am excited to make new friends and connect with local business leaders, as well as gain some incredible experiences along the way.
