Hello! My name is Alyssa D’Errico and I am from La Habra, California. I will be a senior next year at Pitt studying finance and economics. As I think about my career, I hope to work in personal finance; such as wealth management, or financial planning. I have always dreamed about a career where I could help other people and I believe I can do that through sharing financial literacy. In my free time, I love everything sports and nature related. I also love exploring new places and taking photographs. 

The international program I chose at Pitt, is the Plus3 Ireland program through the school of business. I chose this specific program for a few reasons. I have never been outside of the US and have always wanted to visit Europe! I also chose this program because of the opportunities this program will give me to reach my goals towards my academic and professional future. Just as many new experiences do, I know this program will help me grow in many ways. It will teach me how to adapt to new environments, communicate with others of different cultural backgrounds, how to be a better collaborator and so much more. These are all vastly important skills that I truly believe are only learned through experience and they will act as stepping stones as I finish my academic journey and begin my professional development.

I am beyond excited and grateful to have a chance to undergo such a life changing program! H2P!
