My name is Theo Oreste, and I am a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh. A little about me is that I am an only child that was born in Brooklyn Ny, but now live is a small town in south central Pa called Greencastle.  I’ve also lived in a couple other places too such as France and Canada. Another interesting fact is that I am trilingual, I speak English, French and Creole.  At Pitt I partake in the business club called PBL (Pitt Business Leaders), I am also part of Pitt Rugby, and lastly I do intermural soccer.

I am a business student with the plans of studying finance in the future. I really do enjoy traveling so a goal of mine is to work overseas or even study a little more abroad once I graduate. I am so glad that I get to participate in the Plus 3 Costa Rica Program during the summer of 2023. I not only chose this program because I wanted to visit and explore Costa Rica but because I hope this gives me an idea on how businesses work in another country.  I would love to learn the difference in lifestyles affects work environments. I also hope that this trip will help get me back into learning Spanish a bit more due to the fact that after 3 years of learning Spanish in high school after only a year I can feel myself forgetting most of it. Learning all of that would be great but nothing will be better than the experience I will get from being in another country with the people themselves and enjoying and partaking in their culture.
