Add That to the Czech List

Today was the second day that we were in Prague. The day started with a tour of the city. We started in the Jewish Quarter and saw some of the synagogues, a few of which are still active today. Then, we saw the Charles Bridge again and got lots of great photos (as seen below). Next, we visited the Strahov Monastery (and beer garden) and the Prague Castle. The Wallenstein Gardens were BEAUTIFUL!! There were flowers, hedges, owls, a pond with fish, and peacocks. Next, we went to the breathtaking St. Vitus Cathedral, which has amazing stained glass and architecture.

Travel to get to Prague was long and tiring, but overall it was definitely worth it! I would say the lowest point of the trip was during the long transatlantic flight, when I was exhausted but couldn’t fall asleep. The peak for me was when we first left the airport in Prague, and our bus passed a field of yellow flowers. It was a perfectly undisturbed field and I know that this trip would be amazing after seeing that.
