Exploring Prague

Today was a busy day of getting to know this magical city. From the food to the streets to the people, Prague is truly one of a kind. I have never been to a major city before that is so peaceful, quiet, and clean all while having incredible charm and history. I explored the Old Jewish Quarter, the Museum of Communism, Prague Castle, and the John Lennon Wall. Beyond these major landmarks, I have really enjoyed walking around and appreciating the architecture and art around me. After seeing and learning more about the history of this city, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the beauty of Prague.

It is crazy to think that just yesterday we only arrived here yesterday. The countless hours of travel have made this trip feel like it has already been at least a week. There were many highs and lows throughout the long process of getting here, but after only one night here it has already been beyond worth it. Being sleep deprived and jetlagged was definitely the low point of this trip so far, but all of that is just temporary. Everything I have done since stepping off that plane has been a high point and will far outlive my tiredness. This has already been quite the journey and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
