We are almost to Cyprus, and I could not be more excited. The flight to Germany was a long 8 hours, during which I did not sleep at all. The Frankfurt airport was really cool looking and had a lot of cute shops. It was someone’s birthday so we a little celebration for them in the airport. We only had one more flight left until we were in Cyprus! The flight was only four hours and I was finally able to fall asleep on this journey.

The Cyprus was really nice and weirdly empty. Surprisingly, we had no line and were able to go straight through Customs. We were finally in Cyprus!! We had a bit of a bus ride back to the hotel and were able to see many cool sites. Cyprus has many cool houses, that are all gorgeous. They look how Italian Villas are pictured in movies. Everything was so different than the United States. There are many different types of plants. There were palm trees and flowers everywhere.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are so nice with mini kitchens, 2 beds and a balcony. There is a rooftop pool that has a gorgeous view and would be amazing to watch the sunset at.

We explored the town around the hotel, and everything looked beautiful. Unlike the United States, people dress a nicer. We saw barely anyone in sweatpants, sweatshirt or athleisure. There are also dinner places with outdoor sitting all around which this type is rare in the US. We went to dinner and the food was amazing. It was a bit of a culture shock that you have to ask for the check and that people stay around at restaurants for a long time. I am so excited for the weeks to come and can’t wait to explore this place more.
