Another delightful breakfast, followed by a short walking tour on our way to Charles University where we learned more about Czech history and had the chance to ask questions to our knowledgable and enthusiastic teacher. This was followed by a scavenger hunt around Prague, where my team got the dub. Then we had an aesthetic lunch to fuel up for our company visit.

We got to meet the company TechTech, who manufactures a device that detects the cleanliness of a surface with applications including getting paint to adhere. We learned about how they got the business started and are planning to expand.

When we got back, I went off on my own because my social battery was running low. I decided to spend some peaceful time in nature. I went to the overlook of the city to take some pictures and dance in the grass. I was shocked to find so many people there. They were doing all sorts of activities like skateboarding, biking, swinging, some type of Taekwondo, slack-lining, and dancing to drum beats.
I often feel awkward of shy when I dance in public, but seeing all of these activities made me feel far from a fish-out-of-water. Everyone has a passion, and it was refreshing to see that everyone felt free to do as they pleased in this space. A little girl came up to me to show off her cartwheel. Dance is a universal language. Though we didn’t speak, we understood each other perfectly.
