Today was a slightly colder and wetter day for our trip to Cesky Krumlov. We arrived there after a slightly longer bus ride, and thought that the rain might hold off for us. We toured the town and the castle. The moat outside the castle had an unexpected surprise… BEARS! The castle was really amazing to look at, but it was cold inside since it was such a raw day outside. They were so cute. When the castle tour concluded, it was raining outside, so we quickly walked to a local restaurant for lunch. I tried goulash and got hot chocolate to warm me up and it was one of the best meals I have had while I have been here.

The local custom that resonated with me the most while staying in the Czech Republic has been the affordability of everything, and the ease of mobility around such a large/touristy city. It has been nice to get decent portions of really good food for around $20. Also, the city is pretty walkable and the trams/public transit are easy to catch and follow a regular schedule.
