Not facing it mundi

While walking down the road, a group of us discovered an animal. After finding out this creature was called the coatimundi, I had to look up the meaning of mundi as I am a dedicated Star Wars nerd. Pictured below is Jedi Master Ki Adi Mundi fighting General Grievous. Knowing about Ki Adi Mundi’s story, mundi meaning lone makes sense. He is one of the last of his species and does not have lasting bonds with many characters. His clones did not even feel that bad after executing him. Ki Adi Mundi’s story shows the curse of doing things alone.

Unlike like Ki, we do not have to do things alone. My small group for an exercise in sustainability combined our thoughts into one and destroyed the notion that we had to pick only one option: productivity, conservation, and sustainability. Our group created the idea that mayo could be made with infinitely recyclable plastic, conserving resources sustainably without destroying productivity.

The communities of Monteverde are also unlike Ki as well. Selena and her team were there to make sure Costa Ricans did not have to go hungry during the pandemic, sending out business advice videos, garden growing tutorials, and providing food to those they could.

Moral of the blog: there is never a need to do it alone, and there is never a need to choose one thing alone.
