Today was our final day of the trip. We visited Salzburg, which was absolutely beautiful. It was also exciting to visit a new country I’ve never seen before. We first started with our train ride which was packed, and we had to stand the entire ride. After what felt like forever we finally arrived in Salzburg.

When we got to Salzburg it was absolutely beautiful we got to walk around a bit checked out some cool churches and cool locations. We continued to make our way towards the fortress which was supposed to have great views of the city.

Once we finally got to the fortress and got up top, we were absolutely shocked by how gorgeous the views were. You could see almost the entire city from there and I attached some pictures. We continued exploring the castle and saw views from different angles. We got to see the alps in the background of the city which was great. We stayed in the castle for almost 3 hours just exploring and seeing everything. Finally, I ended the day with some traditional Austrian chocolate cake which was great. We ended our trip with some wonderful Italian food. Our trip to Salzburg was certainly worth it, especially since it only cost us 13 euros round trip!
