Best day of my life.
So, today was a free day… and the best day of my life. I have been obsessed with Harry Styles since I saw him for the first time on a commercial right when One Direction first started. I have been dying to see him preform but tickets in the US are more than $1,000!
A couple of months ago I was seriously debating going to Europe only to see him in concert, I know its a little embarrassing but that is how bad I needed to see him. When scrolling through where he was going to be I saw that he had 2 nights preforming in Munich. When I looked at the date and discovered he was going to be there the same time I was and he had a concert the night of our free day I screamed. This was finally my moment to see him. I was worried when I started looking at the tickets because I was sure they were going to be expensive, but when I looked, a pit section ticket was under $200! I asked Kaylee if she would want to go with me and immediately I bought us the tickets! Right after that I bought an outfit to wear. I think my friends and family from home got a little annoyed about how excited I was to go to this concert.
The week before the concert I brought it up saying “one week until my voice will be gone”, and Jules asked why. Kaylee and I told her that we were going to his concert and Jules decided to buy a ticket too. I feel like she had a feeling deep down that she would be going cause she even packed a Harry Styles t-shirt.

It was the day of the concert and I was over the moon! I started getting ready so early so we would have time to figure out trains. Colleen decided to buy a ticket last minute and go with us. Now we had four girls going which was so fun! We all got ready and headed over to the train station. Here is some advice, if you are with a group planning to go somewhere on these trains, please do it in advance because we did not have a fun time trying to get tickets. By the time we got them our train was leaving 2 minutes after. So we sprinted over and got on the train thank god. When we arrived in Munich we looked around the train station, we had no idea how to get to the concert. I found a group of girls with boas on and knew that they were also going to Harry, so I asked them if they knew, which they did not. After trying to find a bus to take us there we all eventually got too frustrated and ordered an uber. Once we got there we had to walk a while up a hill to the venue. Coming over the hill we could see how many people were already there waiting. I talked to one fo the security guys and he got us right to the front of this line, we were so lucky. The doors opened at 4:30 and when they finally did people were running everywhere. We decided to go get merchandise at that first moment so they wouldn’t run out. I spent way way too much money there, but got a lot of cute clothes and bags.

Finally we walked over to the pit and slowly made out way to the very front of the pit! We were so close to the stage. We made a couple of friends around us who were from all over, we also had a couple arguments (concert girls are crazy). We waited and waited and finally at 7:00, the opening act came out. It was Wet Leg, and if you haven’t heard of them before they’re actually really good. I enjoyed their set and even learned a couple new songs. 8:30 I heard this special song, this song is new to the tour because these are his last few shows for Love On Tour. I immediately started shaking and took out my phone because the intro was about to start. When he came out I had full body chills, Kaylee and I look at each other and we are just sobbing, I barely stopped crying throughout this entire show. Of course I screamed every song at the top of my lungs. I was so happy and never wanted it to end, but it did and when he sang his last song and the lights turned on I couldn’t move. I swear I was frozen. We took some pictures and proceeded to try and leave the stadium. There was a huge swarm of people trying to leave so it took us a while to finally get out. Our next problem was how the heck to get home. We literally decided to just follow a crowd and hope for the best. We had to get on this one bus, which was PACKED so we actually had to squeeze our bodies on it just so we would fit. We then took the subway back to the train station. I was in a fog the whole time, I think my body was still in shock. When we got on the train, I instantly whipped out my phone and started watching the concert videos. When we got home it was almost 1am. We got back and had to pack our suitcases. After going to bed close to 3am, I wake up at 4:30 to my alarm going off so we could leave for the airport at 5:45am. I was running off of no sleep and my voice was gone. We got on the bus and headed to the airport, bye Germany!
