Over too soon…

I can’t believe we are already back home but it was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. Going into this experience I was excited to learn about a different culture and make lasting memories but it turned out to be more than I could have ever dreamed of. I not only learned a lot about a different country and culture but I learned more about myself. This experience helped me realize many things from potential other companies I may want to work for to how much I really do love nature and photography. I also felt like this experience challenged me in ways I hadn’t experienced much otherwise. Being around new people in a completely new environment forces you to learn to adapt but also challenges your values and the things you feel are important to you. As I reflect on this trip, I feel as though my values and who I am and want to be as a person were strengthened through challenges I faced in this experience. Also, I learned many skills that I hope to work on as I look to start my senior year and plan for my career. The importance of skills like networking, technology, communication, and collaboration were all highlighted throughout this trip. I hope to take the knowledge I have learned in these areas and apply them to my career path. We also learned the importance of soft skills. I hope to clean up my own soft skills and better highlight them on my resume and in future interviews. Overall, I learned so much in Ireland through this experience and made so many lifelong memories! See you later Ireland…
