Reflection

After taking some time to reflect about this amazing trip, I have come up with a few important things that I would like to talk about.

The first thing being that this trip was one of the most unique professional experiences I could have ever done. We were given this amazing opportunity to learn about such a cool and unique industry, in the place where the automotive industry is most well known. I learned so many new things about something I haven’t ever learned or thought much about and it gave me a much more different perspective. This trip really made me think about all the different and complex things that go into transforming an industry into something totally different in such a short period of time. I really loved the way the companies visits challenged my thoughts and views. Because of everything I have learned, I am deeply thinking about pursuing the automotive industry in my future career.

The second thing I would like to talk about is the new cultural perspectives and experiences that I have gained from this trip. I think what did this the most was being able to talk and work with German students. This gave me a whole new perspective on what the German culture was about and what kind of people they were. They were all so incredibly nice and even showed us around to all the good local foot spots an activities. This allowed for us to get a real and authentic experience which was amazing. However, what I was most impressed about the German students was how good their English is. They were able to do a whole presentation in their second language which I found to be so impressive.

The last thing I’d like to talk about is the amazing people I met on this trip. I spent time with and got to know some great and hardworking friends. The connections and friendships I made are one of the most important things that came out of this trip for myself and I am so grateful for all of it.

All in all, this was one of the best experiences of my life and am so appreciative for this amazing opportunity.
