Personal Introduction

Hey! My name is Kalynn Kuchta, I’m a sophomore majoring in marketing and supply chain with a certificate in digital media here at Pitt! I’m from Springdale, PA which is a super small town, about 25 minutes outside of Pittsburgh. I’m currently a marketing intern for the University of Pittsburgh’s athletics program, where I am a Gameday Coordinator! In my free time, I love to make fun posts for the Club Cheer team, where I have held the Social Media Chair position for the past two years!

Plus3 Germany

Plus3 Germany checked all of the boxes I was looking for when searching for study abroad programs. The first box was the length. I have never been abroad before, so the two weeks timeframe is the perfect taste test to the world of international travel! The second was the location. My grandfather was stationed in Germany while in the Army and while growing up, he told me countless of stories about his experiences. Since hearing these, I have always wanted to visit! The third box was the people. I was so excited to hear that this program was all business students and mostly transfer students, like myself!

During the trip, I look forward to experiencing a new country! Since I have not been aboard before, this will be the perfect experience to completely immerse myself in a new culture. This program will expose me to the automotive industry, leaders from large companies, and what international business looks like! Before departure, I have learned even more about the German culture and history which will be interesting to see in person. I cannot wait for this experience to start!
