Hi!! I’m Sydney Rosenberg and I am Freshman at the University of Pittsburgh. I plan to double major in Global Management and Marketing. I also am pursuing a certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. I am from Monmouth County NJ and two of my favorite places are the beach and New York City.

I love shopping which is definitely a factor for what I want my career to fall in. I want to do some type of international business, possibly in the fashion field. I plan to study abroad for a whole semester in Florence during my Junior Year, so I hope to possibly get an internship revolving fashion there since Florence is very focused on fashion.

Being an intended Global Management major, Plus3 was an instant draw for me. I am taking part in Plus3 Vietnam. Vietnam is a location I would probably never go to if it was not for this program. One of the main reasons I chose Vietnam as one of the locations I wanted to visit was for all the history Vietnam has be apart of. Obviously, the Vietnam War was a huge event in history that created Vietnam to be the way it is to this day. In addition, I love learning about different cultures and witnessing it first hand. Vietnam is a location that has a COMPLETELY different culture than America and I am extremely excited to learn more about it while in country.

In addition to learning about Vietnam’s culture, I am very excited to go to all the site visits and researching my site which is the Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal Tour. Lastly, I am beyond excited to meet the Vietnamese students and build friendships with them. I want to learn about each of them and see what they like to do in their free time. I am extremely excited for the Plus3 Vietnam experience and can’t wait to see everything I have gained and learned from this!!
