Hi everyone! My name is Olivia Supp, but my friends call me Liv. I am currently a Freshman at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a bachelor's degree in Nursing. I knew I wanted to work in the medical field from an early age. I wanted to be able to have interactions with my patients and be able to take the time to know them. Therefore, I found nursing to be the perfect fit! I love to do fundraising and volunteer work in my free time. I also love watching all Pittsburgh sports as I was born here at Mercy hospital! I enjoy playing soccer, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and going to the gym with my friends. Pitt has been such a great experience so far. I am extremely excited to expand my comfort zones and education through this college.

This summer I will be studying abroad in the UK, specifically in Birmingham and London! I chose this program because of its specific focus on Birmingham City University’s medical program. I am beyond excited to go to the Children's hospital as I am specifically interested in pediatric oncology. I am also honored to be learning more about the UK’s medical system. I think it will be educational and will affect my future practices as a nurse. I hope to take what I learn and apply it to the nursing system in the United States. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn abroad with others who are studying my major as it is a once in a lifetime chance that I am looking forward to experiencing!
