About Me!
Hi! My name is Anna Levin and I am a freshman in the College of Business Administration studying accounting and business information systems. I’m from Upper Dublin, PA which is around 30 minutes outside of Philly. Here at Pitt, I am involved in Alpha Kappa Psi which is a professional business fraternity. I am currently the director of marketing to feel free to give our instagram a follow 🙂 I am also a part of the Accounting Association and Smart Women Securities. Professionally, I plan to sit for my CPA and pursue a career in public accounting. In my free time I love to hang out with my friends and family, try new places to eat, and listen to music.
Plus3 Cyprus:
I am eager to participate in Plus3 Cyprus because it offers a unique opportunity to deepen my understanding of supply chain management, a crucial aspect of business operations. As a student in the business school, I recognize the significance of supply chain dynamics in optimizing efficiency and achieving strategic goals within organizations. Through this program, I anticipate gaining invaluable hands-on experience by visiting various companies, observing their supply chain processes firsthand, and engaging with industry professionals. This immersive learning experience in Cyprus promises to broaden my perspective, enhance my academic knowledge, and equip me with practical insights that will undoubtedly benefit my future endeavors in the field of business.
3 Most Important Things I Have Learned So Far:
- I need to call my credit card company before I go to Cyprus so they do not cancel it for fraudulent behavior
- Cyprus is an Island in the Mediterranean split between the Greek and Turkish Cypriots
- There is a buffer zone between the Turkish and Greek areas of the island that is owned by the UN. In the past it was hard to get through but it has become more lenient recently.
I am so excited to embark on this journey to Cyprus and I cannot wait to see what it brings!
