Hello! My name is Ben Kelley, I am currently a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh. I am studying bioengineering with a premed intent. I am from southeastern New Hampshire. back home I spend lots of time outside, hiking, fishing and swimming at the beach. I also enjoy playing basketball and going to the gym. I have an older brother who attends the University of New Hampshire. I love music, I enjoy listening to Led Zep, the Black Keys, Smashing Pumpkins, Eagles, Steely Dan, Dire Straits, Sam Cooke, etc. I love live music, the majority of the concerts I’ve been to have been with my parents. I’ve seen Elton John (twice), John Fogerty (twice), The Who, Aerosmith (soon to be twice), Steely Dan (twice) and Eagles, to name a few.

Plus 3: Netherlands

This summer term, I will be traveling to the Netherlands with my peers to learn more about international business and engineering. I chose Plus3 Netherlands because I have always wanted to visit Europe. Additionally, the language barrier will not be as high as the other locations, which will hopefully promote a more seamless visit. This will be my first time outside of the country, and I am very excited for the opportunity to go overseas. I look forward to learning more about the engineering companies and how they do business in the Netherlands, learning more about Netherlands culture, making new friends, and strengthening existing friendships during this trip.
