Hello everyone. My name is CJ and I’m from West Chester, PA(not far from Philly). I am a first year student in the College of Business Administration. I’m currently undecided with my major but plan on studying Finance or Accounting along with Global Management. I am an avid soccer fan and player having played since Elementary School. I also enjoy tennis and golf, and have worked on a local course for three years. Since arriving at Pitt I have joined Pittsburgh Management Consulting, a student run consulting firm run by the Consulting Club @ Pitt, as an analyst. I have also started as a student manager for Pitt Football this semester.

I will be participating in Plus3 Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I chose this destination as my number one choice after listening to Bryan Schultz highlight this specific destination at our first year business student class. After hearing what he had to say I knew I had to switch this to my number one. Vietnam was one of the more unique destinations in my opinion and there are no other chances to study abroad here while at Pitt. It’s also a destination that I have no idea if I’ll ever be able to travel to again. So, I had to put Vietnam as my first choice, and lucky for me I got it. Plus3 is also giving me a unique opportunity to test out if I want to pursue the Global Management major in the CBA. I’m looking forward to adding another country my list of places traveled to and experience and entirely new and different culture. I’m looking forward to try to learn a new language and adjust to the 11 hour time different. I can’t wait for our departure in two weeks and to have new stories to tell!
