Hi everyone! My name is Crista Amaya. I am a first-year business student pursuing Finance and Marketing alongside a minor in French. I am from Washington D.C., which is approximately a 4 hr drive from Pittsburgh. On campus, I am an active member of the Latino Student Association. Personally, I enjoy listening to music, reading, and binge watching shows. I am also a huge fan of traveling and exploring new places, which initially caught my attention in studying abroad. I am very excited for the opportunity to study in Argentina!

I chose this two-week program because it allows me to gain firsthand experience about global business practices in a different environment. During this experience, I hope to gain insight about the healthcare sectors, financing, and delivery systems. Argentina is known for its rich culture through exhibitions, unique cuisine, and architecture. I hope to take advantage of what the country offers and further expand my knowledge. Being Hispanic myself, I am so excited to immerse myself in a culture so closely related to my own. I look forward to learning and exploring in Argentina!
