Day 4: GROB and Forvia company visits

We first started today by visiting GROB, which was about a 45-minute bus ride. Once we arrived, we heard a presentation and began a company tour of their facilities. The number of organizations in their production and operation sites was astonishing. everything about their operations was impressive. I believe that they would greatly adapt to advancements in e-mobility due to their production and personal/internal company service. I also thoroughly enjoyed how during the production tour, we were given a headset so that we could hear the speaker throughout the tour. this to me was a huge game changer considering how some of the other tours were difficult to hear due to the loud machines in the factory.

Next, we headed over to the Forvia site where we got prepared in protective gear for the site tour before the presentations. The production of different car exhaust parts was so fascinating to learn about. I found the one production line of a valve to be the most impressive because it demonstrated the start and end process. The Porsche speaker was also inspiring and unique. I believe that Forvia is a great company for opportunities and mentorship. during the presentations, all the employees were very engaging with us students and seemed to be very passionate about their work.
