I had to plan for Day 4. I knew that the day was going to be a long one. We had to get up at around 6 am to get ready for Eaton. So, my friends and I decided to go to N Seoul Tower and then home the night before. We felt it was an activity that we needed to do, but could still get to bed at a reasonable time. So, the early morning was not too bad. Eaton was great. We went into their largest conference room and watched a presentation about the company’s processes. The presentation and Q&A section afterward helped me broaden my understanding of national business. Eaton is so widespread and has a large product portfolio. It was interesting to see the executives talk about how products are created and implemented. Then, we were able to see the production line of the products. The process to create their automobile products is intricate but efficient. During the tour we had to wear safety shoes, glasses, and a high visibility vest.

After the tour, we went to a restaurant where the best way I can describe is you make Korean pork tacos with lettuce shells. After lunch we went to a massive fish market and I had the oppertunity to eat a live octopus. It was a very strange experience but I am glad that I did it. We also were able to shop around the Hyundai Seoul mall. It is a seven floor super center with a wide variety of goods. At night, we went to a Korean baseball game and it was electric. The fans have synchronized dances and chants that go along with the game. I even caught a ball! The game was a lot of fun but it makes me miss the pirates. Even though they most likely would have lost. It has been a tiring day and I’m ready to get some rest for tomorrow!
