Today we took the train to visit the city of Landsberg am Lech! This was a massive town with so many streets and shops. There were all kinds of stores and restaurants so we spent four hours in this town! Surrounding the city, there was a massive body of water that was so pretty next to the colorful buildings. Here I bought a bracelet, German candy for my cousins, and some fresh strawberries from a farmer’s stand. These strawberries were so much sweeter than the ones at home and they were bright red! My friend, Rachel, and I went through the church that was sitting in the middle of the town on a whim and it was stunning! It was so much bigger and prettier than I would have ever imagined! Apparently this was an Ascension church which is ironic because yesterday was Ascension Day! We then took the train back to Augsburg where Julie, Rachel, and I went shopping and got a late lunch! Rachel and I even got matching purses from a German company!
