Day 6: Landsberg am Lech

Today we took a train to Landsberg where we just spent some time waling around the city and exploring the different areas local to the city. When we first got off the train (around 1 hour ride) we walked to a spot in town that had a good location to go to a few local places. After some quick history about the town from Elisabeth, we headed into the town to see what it had to offer.

The town itself was beautiful. We had the ability to walk into shops and look around. Interestingly enough, some of the stores had multiple locations while some looked like they were family operated. Everyone was out on the town today because it was so beautiful out (walking their dogs!).

I purchases some chocolate covered dates from a local chocolate shop. They were amazing! A lot of the items for purchases were super unique and not extremely touristy. It seemed more artisan products were available for purchase. We also stepped foot in the church which sat in the center of the city. It was absolutely stunning!

Overall, it was a nice relaxed day. I really appreciated seeing what the town had to offer. I also tried my first pistachio croissant… 10/10!
