Today was a much needed free day. I started off the day with breakfast at the hotel and then worked on our project for a few hours following that. The hotel lobby has been a great spot for the whole trip so far. Whether it’s the breakfast, the afternoon coffee machine run, or just a good study or hangout spot. After grinding through the morning and polishing my slides for our presentation, two other guys and I went to a golf course about 15 minutes away from the hotel and played 9 holes of golf. I never thought I’d say I played golf in Germany being that it isn’t a very popular sport here. Everyone I’ve asked here in Germany has never played, but there were actually a lot of people at the course. The staff was also super nice and gave us rental clubs to use because we obviously didn’t have any here. Robby won which stunk, but I’ll beat him next time. It was a great day though and we had perfect weather so no complaints.
