PRESENTATION DAY!!!

The long awaited presentation day has finally arrived. We grabbed a quick breakfast and headed over to the university to give our presentations. Audi was the first group to go and we had to talk for 30 minutes with a 15 minute discussion. Unfortunately , we had a little bit too much information and we went over time, but overall, I think we presented clearly with extremely thorough information. I’m proud of our group and how we overcame some of the barriers to work together to create a cohesive PowerPoint. I am so glad we had a good group and I’m so happy to have met the German students. The German students are so nice and it was so fun to exchange experiences and learn from each other. After the Audi presentation we watched all the other groups present before we headed to lunch. I got to meet some of the other German students during lunch. One thing I am grateful for is that we don’t have the same cafeteria style as the German students do. The cafeteria is a little chaotic, but the food is very good and it’s always fun to try something different. After lunch we took the tram back to our hotel to relax for about 30 min before we went back out. We stopped at an adorable café for some coffee, then we got some of the best gelato I have ever had from Tutti-Frutti. Of course, while we were out, we had to do some more souvenir shopping before we went back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. I made Julie do my hair, I took the shortest nap of my life, and we almost made it on time which im going to take as a win. We met at the town squares Rathskeller for the final goodbye dinner with the German students, the master students and all the faculty. I officially had my first schnitzel while being in Germany and if I had to describe it, I would say it is the equivalent of chicken tenders for Americans. Nonetheless, it was delicious. we made some final plans with the students and then went back to our hotel to hang out and chill for the rest of the night.

This is todays Gelato, it was strawberry and a unique flavor that was DELICIOUS. It tasted like birthday cake with chocolate chips in it.
This was the Schnitzel we had, and it was very good. Definitely similar to chicken nuggets
