Today is our last day and I am so sad! I am going to miss all of my friends that I made on this trip so much. I am forever grateful for this experience and all that I have learned. Today we started off with a classic English breakfast and then went to the Florence Nightingale museum. Then we went all around London and ate some great food. Lastly, we went to see Mamma Mia at the theatre as a big hoorah!
We took the tube and it went so much faster than I thought it would. It was a lot of fun. We walked outside and right away we saw Big Ben! It was a great sight. We walked across the bridge and saw the beautiful views. After a little bit of walking, we finally made it to the museum.
I was so excited to go to this museum. First of all, I admire Florence Nightingale so much and it was so cool to see that she had a museum about her. We spent some time walking around the museum and reading about her life. There is so much that she did that I never even realized. The museum was also really neat because there were so many items belonging directly to Florence. I loved learning about the history of nursing and I could not resist buying a book at the end. I am so excited to read the book when I get home.
Then, we were off on our own to do our own thing. First, we went shopping. We got some gifts for people and went into clothing stores. I loved walking down the streets of London and I felt like the world was at the palm of my hand. We also went to a delicious coffee and crepe place. I got some delicious strawberries covered in chocolate and a crepe. The vibes were so cute. Then, we took the tube to the London Bridge. We looked at the views and took some pictures. We eventually made it to dinner and went to a fabulous pizza place. Then it was finally time to go to the show!
I personally love theatre and love the songs from Mamma Mia so I was very happy to see it. I loved the big dance numbers and the woman who played Donna was absolutely amazing! Everyone else was as well and it was very hard to not hold back my singing throughout the entire show. I was able to do it though! Luckily, at the end of the show we were told that we could stand up and dance along. The cast did three more songs and it was so enjoyable!Â
A Thank You!
Afterwards, we did some more shopping and got last minute food. Overall, I had a great experience on this trip and will forever remember it. I am forever thankful for all of the friends that I made and everything that I learned. I want to thank everyone who went on this trip for everything that they did and my parents who helped me get to this place including! I am also so thankful that I have these blogs that I can forever look back on. Until next time England!
