Tomorrow we leave! I am excited because two weeks has been so long. I miss my family so much, and I can not wait to eat black people food. This trip was a lovely experience. Although I wish we got more time to explore the city on our own, I appreciate all the educational opportunities we got to experience. This trip was more than a break from home, it was a break from the social norms that society has applied to each other. It will be bittersweet leaving the United Kingdom and my new friends but I am more than excited to depart ways. We had fun, we laughed, we cried, we learned, and most importantly we taught, there is not much left here to do but explore. We made each other proud completing and fully explaining our research.
We finally get one day where we can explore and shop, and it is in LONDON!! Later we have to go to a musical play called Mamma Mia! Which I hate musicals with a passion, but I hope it is not as bad. Before going we went to get our own food, it was pizza. The pizza was so good, and the service was excellent. When we went to the musical we all felt great, and was full of food, which made the show more enjoyable because we all kept each other giggling.
A few of us attended the Wax Museum, which shout out to Angela because I would have never went if it was not for her! At first a nice amount of people were going, but then they backed out, and I was about to back out too. It was raining and I did not need to shop til I drop so I went and it was so worth it. We had a fun time taking pictures and talking so I’m glad I decided to go after all.
As excited as I am to say goodbye! I’m even more excited to write no more blogs! This was amazing and I will definitely apply to another location to study abroad in next year! Thanks for reading my blogs, I know I’m the funniest person you ever heard of in your life, I’ll do autographs when I touchdown in the States!
