My morning was slow as I woke up two hours later than normal. After much much-needed night’s rest, I went to the Augsburg Starbucks location and tried a German drink, the Creme brulee iced oat milk shaken expresso. I noticed right away that the coffee here is much stronger than it is in the U.S. There is always less milk in the lattes and also less sugar. I brought my computer to Starbucks sat at a table and worked on my assigned section of the presentation. I worked for a couple of hours and my peer Kalynn came to join me. We rehearsed our sections together and once we felt confident in our work we left to go explore the town together.
We did some shopping at a department/beauty chain, Mueller, in the center of Augsburg. I bought some German candies for my sister to bring home. They call T.J. Maxx T.K. Maxx there so we stopped by to see how it is in Germany.

After walking around, I returned to my hotel to rest for a bit and finish up some last-minute edits in my presentation. For dinner, I ate at an Italian restaurant. The Italian cuisine in Germany is extremely authentic as Italy is merely a couple of hours away by train.

After dinner, I walked around town and took in Augsburg at night. We got Gelato at a local spot called Tutti Frutti and took some pictures of the town. One of my favorite parts of Augsburg is the narrow allies that are decked with cobblestone. Every corner is so classy and elegant.
