The final day of our trip! These past two weeks have flew by. On our last day we had a free day to do whatever we wanted so all of the group decided to go to Salzburg, Austria. The train ticket was only about 15 euros which I thought was a really good deal. After a 3 hour long train ride in the morning we arrived in Salzburg in the early afternoon and started venturing around. It was such a cool city and we got a lot of exercise in this day. Austria is obviously famous for the alps and their mountains so we hiked to the top of a couple and got some insane views of the whole city. We were able to sit down at a restaurant at the top of one of the mountains which was super awesome. Overall, it was a great destination for a day trip and the perfect way to end this trip. I’m really grateful for this trip as I gained some new friends, saw so many new places, and gained an immense amount of knowledge visited the different companies. This trip definitely exceeded my expectations and I’m really glad I decided to go. The professors and program managers were really helpful and great throughout the entire two weeks which I couldn’t be more thankful for.
