After our final presentations we took an excited visit to Regensburg. I didn’t really know what to expect, but it was one of my favorite cities yet. The main part of town was super cool with a bunch of shops and restaurants and the bridge going into town was very scenic and gave a great view of the city. Regensburg is very picturesque. We took a tour which lasted about 2 hours and then went straight to lunch where I had some of the best Italian of my life. Germany has a ton of great Italian places as many Italians live in Germany. After lunch we got some gelato, which again, was some of the best I’ve ever had. I wish we couldn’t spent more time in Regensburg because there seemed to be so much to do and see, but I really enjoyed our time there. After our visit we went to Walhalla which made it seem like we were in Athens. The building sitting on top of a mountain all by itself was stunning. It had massive pillars all around and was simple but elegant inside. It was really nice just sitting outside and taking in the panoramic view. Definitely one of my favorite days yet.
