Today was not a super interesting day. We spent most of the day preparing for our presentations. We met our group on the University of Augsburg’s campus at around 9am. We spent most of the day working on the project then ate lunch in the Mensa (which is their dining hall!).

It was a special day on campus- the students called it ‘bag day’. In the quad, they were handing out these bags that had a bunch of free items and coupons for students. It seemed to be a semesterly thing where each student comes to campus for this. The American student also took some but unfortunately we will not be able to try the coupons as they were for different things around Augsburg and Germany. Still a cool experience!

For dinner, we went to an Italian place in the city. I got carbonara and then a tiramisu for dessert. The pasta was to die for! Very light, creamy, and fresh. It was definitely fresh and not from a box (not what I am used to!). The dessert was also incredible. Not only was it a massive slice, it was fresh and very filling. There was a good amount of cinnamon which I loved.

Overall a good day filled with hard work and good food!
