Today we went to Regensburg, Germany. The bus ride was about two hours long. I was exhausted from the night before so the bus ride really felt like 10 minutes for me since I fell asleep.
Once we got there, we were met by our tour guide who gave us a tour of the city. Regensburg was really neat. It was a very lovely town with a lot of people, but it didn’t seem super crowded, which was nice.

After our tour of the city, we decided to get some pizza at one of the Italian restaurants. I got a margarita pizza which was delicious.
After our quick lunch we continued to walk around and did some shopping. I went to a music store where I bought my brother a recorder disk.
I walked through the Regensburg cathedral which was very cool. The building was huge and super dark inside. I think they turned all the lights off to keep the building cool, since there is no ac in the building.

After our free time ended, we all met up again in the city center where we departed for the bus.
We took the bus for about 20 minutes until we made it to Walhalla. It was so interesting seeing such a beautiful and intricate building in the middle of nowhere. I felt like I was in Greece. The building overlooked the river down below which was beautiful.
Inside the building it was a museum which had sculptures of famous Germans. It was pretty neat seeing everyone.

After our brief trip we headed back on the bus to head back to the hotel. It was truly a blast touring all these places today. Today was the last day that we had a structured schedule. I certainly created memories that I will remember for a lifetime!
