I have been waiting for this one.

Today we visited our last company, in my opinion saved the best for last. We broke up into two groups and my group started with a self guided tour of the museum they have of all the old cars and the history of Audi as a changing company. We were able to relax and check out their lunch space while waiting for the other group to finish up their factory tour. The factory was definitely the coolest part, we got to see from start to finish the process of building a car on the assembly line. We did not get much information that was useful for the presentation while at the tour, but it was beneficial to see what they do firsthand.

Here are some pictures of cool displays in the museum. They have built everything from vans to motorcycles to race cars.

“Vorsprung durch Technik” has been their slogan since 1971 and it means progress through technology. It is a reminder of what sets Audi apart from the competition.
