My name is Jack Pan, and I’m a driven and hardworking student currently majoring in Business Marketing at the University of Pittsburgh. Personally, I take pride in my strong work ethic and communication skills, which I developed through years of working in the restaurant industry. Growing up in a fast-paced environment taught me the importance of persistence, hard work and connecting with people from all over the world. I bring this same energy and commitment into my academic journey, where I strive to make the most out of every opportunity that comes my way.
Professionally, I’m focused on building a career in sales—specifically medical sales—because it blends my passion for working with people and my goal of supporting my future family. I’m also working toward graduating a year early, which reflects my motivation to push myself and get a head start on my career goals. Academically, I’m always looking for hands-on experiences that help me grow beyond the classroom.
This summer, I’m excited to be part of the Plus3 Program in Vietnam. I chose this program because of the country’s rich culture, amazing food, and unique business environment. I’m eager to explore Vietnam firsthand and learn how global markets and business practices differ across cultures. Through this experience, I hope to gain new information, different perspectives, and meaningful experiences that will give me a understanding how other people work and grow. This will help prepare me for a successful career in my field . Personally, I’m looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone, trying new things, and making lasting memories with my peers.
