Hello, I am Victoria Weaver. I am a current freshman at the University of Pittsburgh, and I am currently planning to major in Business Information Systems and Business Analytics. I plan to minor in either Italian or Gender, Sexuality, and Women Studies with a certificate in National Preparedness & Homeland Security. In my free time I enjoy practicing karate, watching hockey, listening to music, and collecting a variety of things. On campus I am currently a shadowing board member for Students Engaging in Conversations about Consent and Sexuality and an analysist for Smart Women’s Securities. Outside of campus I work Event Security with Allied Universal.

This summer as the title may suggest, I am going to Cyprus with the Plus3 program. Why Cyprus? I choose this program because this past summer I went to Scottland and Ireland and I thought to myself, perhaps I should extend my knowledge of the world. Cyprus is a unique island with unique history, between wanting to explore further into the path of the Knight’s Templars and learn more about the modern international supply chain, let’s just say that it piqued my interest. I hope that exploring Cyprus and learning about the businesses that call Cyprus home will allow me to develop a better understanding of my place in the world.
