Hi everyone! My name is Trent Valentine and I am from Westfield, New Jersey. I am currently nearing the end of my first year at Pitt in the College of Business Administration. I am an Accounting major, though I may also choose to double major in Finance in the future. At Pitt, I am a member of the Accounting Association and Undergraduate Finance Club.

When I am not busy doing work or studying, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and having a good time. Often times I can be found behind Cathy throwing a football or kicking a soccer ball around enjoying the weather no matter the temperature. I also enjoy traveling to new places and getting to experiences I could never find back home. My favorite television show is Survivor, and my favorite music act is Gorillaz.

The reason I selected this program is because it gives me the chance to have a first-hand look at the Business world on a global level. I also have never traveled abroad before and this program’s variety of locations, with Cyprus being my top choice, was something I could not say no to. In Cyprus, there will focus on the supply chain management aspect of business, which I do not know much about yet. This is a reason why Cyprus was my top choice as I get a peek into one side of business before my career path is set in stone. I cannot wait to see the gorgeous island of Cyprus, and make new connections and memories.
