Hi! My name is Mia O’Boyle and I am a freshman in the College of Business Administration. Currently, I am studying Marketing but I plan to switch my major to Finance & Accounting this upcoming fall. I am from Media, Pennsylvania which is right outside of Philadelphia. So far at Pitt, I am a part of a professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi where I will be serving as the Director of Academic Success this upcoming fall! Outside of school, I love to be active and spend time with my friends and family. I love traveling, so I am super excited to go to Cyprus!

I chose Cyprus for many reasons, but some of the most important being the way it offers a unique perspective on global supply chain management at the crossroads of so many amazing countries. As a business major, I wanted to experience the operations of international trade and logistics in such an interesting part of the world. Through the Plus3 Cyprus program, I am eager to gain hands-on experience through numerous site visits and gaining first-hand knowledge on their supply chain management processes. Cyprus is an incredible country where I know I will gain unforgettable knowledge that I will take with me throughout, and after, my college career. I cannot wait to take on this trip and make so many memories!
