Hi guys! My name is Tara Wittlinger, and I am a rising senior in the David C. Frederick Honors College, Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Business Administration. I am majoring in History and German with a Business minor. I love running, reader, and hiking in my free time. I am very invested in learning German, and I studied abroad in Heidelberg, Germany in the Fall 24 semester. I plan to attend law school and become a corporate lawyer upon graduating from Pitt. I hope my foundation in these three fields of study will help me to achieve this goal.

I will be on the Plus3 summer trip to Augsburg, Germany, where we will be learning firsthand about the auto industry in the country where cars were invented. I am looking forward to applying what I learned about the German language and culture from my previous experience abroad in a professional setting. Interacting with the German students, professors, and company representatives we will encounter during our trip will be a great test for the skills I have developed in an environment I have not yet encountered. I immensely enjoyed the immersion I experienced during my first trip abroad to Germany, and I am looking for a way to build on what I learned.
