Hello! My name is Ashlyn Coates and I am from Malvern, PA . I am a sophomore at Pitt double majoring in business information systems and marketing. In my free time at Pitt I am a member of the Women in Business club and enjoy spending time with friends on campus. This summer I will be going to Germany as a part of the Plus3 Program.

I decided to apply for Plus3 Germany for a variety of reasons. First, I was very interested in the opportunity to travel abroad to a place I had never been before. Also, the insight on the automotive industry seemed very interesting as it it something I currently do not know much about. I am excited to learn more about German culture, connect with the German Students, and to learn more about the business aspects of the automotive industry.

Overall I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to go on this trip and am looking forward to everything that is to come.
